Volunteer Opportunities with United Way of Santa Fe County

Volunteers have long been an important part of UWSFC. We have many volunteer opportunities that help us fulfill our mission to create lifelong, positive change for children and families striving to succeed in Santa Fe County.

Our volunteers guide our work and provide invaluable insight into our community. They impact every aspect of our mission, from our annual campaign to our financial oversight to the implementation of our work with children and families.

If you are interested in volunteering with United Way of Santa Fe County, please contact Claire Dudley Chavez at (505) 216-2972 or claired@uwsfc.org.

Community Volunteer Opportunities

At United Way of Santa Fe County, all of our volunteer opportunities are directed toward the support of our work.  We do not coordinate volunteer opportunities for other non-profit organizations in our community.

March 2017 Volunteer Recognition

Sunshine one day and snow the next – spring time in Santa Fe is upon us!

We are especially grateful to long-time, loyal volunteers Gary Clendenen and Judy Gresham for serving as lunchtime volunteers at our Aspen site.  We are also very thankful to John Eckert and Ellie Blossom for helping out at our Ramirez Thomas Early NM PreK site.

We will be putting together another mailing of books as part of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library on Friday, April 24, 2017 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.  Please join us!

Help us ensure a child’s day is off to a great start!  Join us as a breakfast volunteer at Ramirez Thomas.  We are looking for help on week days from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m.  You can help out once a week or once a month, whatever fits your schedule.

If you are interested in volunteering with United Way of Santa Fe County, please contact Claire Dudley Chavez at (505) 216-2972 or claired@uwsfc.org.
