Our most recent program component, Mobilizing for Education Excellence, is a community engagement effort and is a natural progression of our commitment to help children and families move out of generational poverty. Throught this community engagement effort we are partnering with our community in new dynamic relationships focused on creating education excellence in our sagging local learning environment. Selected as one of only nine (9) cities in this United Way Worldwide pilot project, our tiny United Way has found itself in the vanguard among communities in our mobilized approach to increase our graduation rates.
