Programs for children prenatal to 3

Early literacy starts at birth with our Early Childhood Programs.

First Born®, providing a good start in life with home visitation to families with first-born babies. Home visitation builds resiliency in first-time families, starting with a low-risk pregnancy. First Born®, developed right here in New Mexico, builds the foundation for success in school and life for our littlest learners. The prestigious RAND Corporation, in cooperation with our First Born® Program, is conducting a study measuring the impact on first-time families receiving these home visiting services.

Our Book Clubs are available to bi-lingual and Spanish speaking new families. Families come together monthly to share the tradition of reading to young children in a school setting while developing new social supports with other young parents.

Our Triple P - Positive Parenting Program provides support for parents of kids 0-18, through a series of free parent classes designed to enhance parents' "tool kit" to respond to challenging behaviors. Community childcare professionals can access training through Triple P as well.
