United Way of Santa Fe County is committed to working with the community to ensure the young people of Santa Fe become productive members of society.  The organization has engaged Santa Feans, in a series of community conversations and surveys, to learn about the community’s aspirations for education.  In June, United Way of Santa Fe County convened a Mobilizing for Education Excellence Summit resulting in 21 recommendations.  As a result, three Action Teams are working to develop a community-driven plan that supports your aspirations for education excellence.  These Summit recommendations will impact the education opportunities for all our young people.

The teams are focused on three key areas:
- Academic Programs and Funding
- Parent and Community Engagement
- School and Teacher Policy

New resources for this site may be emailed to Marte Murphy at marte3m@comcast.net.  In most cases, new materials can be posted within 48 hours.
