All children who will be four years old by September 1, 2010 and who live in Santa Fe County, may apply to UWSFC PreK programs.
Please bring child’s birth certificate and two sources of address verification (rental agreement or utility bill – gas, electric, home phone, etc.)
Infant Carriers with M'Liss Stelzer
Come meet other families with babies and learn how to use the many infant/baby carriers that are available. M'Liss brings an assortment of baby carriers so you can try them out.
Babies who are carried by an adult cry less, sleep longer and develop strong bonds with their parents.

PreK Parents at Agua Fria are invited to three events for Coffee and Conversation. Two will be held right after drop off from 7:55 to 8:45 on March 17 and March31. The other will be to accomodate the PM class March 24 from 10:55 to 11:45.
All parents are invited to attend this event which will be held in English and Spanish so that parents can let know if there are any unmet needs that we can help with. Along with the conversations we will be doing a survey to insure family imput so we may have the best services possible.

SFPS District Closed
School board sets election date
The Santa Fe school board has scheduled board elections for Feb. 1.
Three positions are up for election: District 1, currently held by board vice-president Mary Ellen Gonzales; District 2, held by board president Richard Polese; and District 4, held by Angélica Ruiz. Declarations of candidacy and a sworn statement of intent are due with the Santa Fe County Clerk, 102 Grant Ave., on Dec. 21.
